STEP 1 - Job Order

In this initial stage of the Filtration Process, FirstOption employs a Proprietary Recruiting Activation (RAC) process. The RAC involves several essential steps to ensure each new Recruiting effort is initiated with potency, efficiency and success in mind.

Below is a basic breakdown of the RAC process:

  1. We assign Primary and Alternate Staffing Specialists to each Job Order. This ensures redundancy and maximum expertise applied to each Job Order.
  2. The Management and Primary/Alternate Staffing Specialists evaluate the respective Client Partner, WorkForce Challenges and Job Description/Requirements (Skill Set, Experience, Education, Certifications, etc.).

STEP 2 - Sourcing

FirstOption’s sourcing methodology is designed to be penetrating and multi-faceted. Strategies

include:

  1. Leveraging over 80+ years of combined staffing experience/expertise to scientifically and artfully craft job ads that are designed to market each position and engage high quality, qualified prospective candidates.
  2. Placing our carefully crafted ads at up to 87 recruiting sources to include:
    1. All major general job boards
    2. All relevant specialized job boards
    3. University Career Centers and Alumni Associations
    4. Military online job sites and base Transition Assistance Centers
    5. Certifying Organizations

Final Determination – Once a candidate has passed each phase of our stringent filtration process and our Client Partner has indicated that they wish to hire, a job offer is made, and placement is coordinated between the new hire and Client Partner.  This is a moment worthy of celebration!

STEP 5 - Follow-Through

At FirstOption WorkForce Solutions, our job doesn’t end once a new hire is placed. Depending on the type of placement, we then:

  1. Manage employee pay and benefits with the highest degree of professionalism, accuracy and consistency.
  2. Follow-up with our Client Partner and New Employee at 1-week and 30-days after placement to ensure everything is going well.
  3. Proactively facilitate productive communication with the Client Partner and Employee.
  4. We also remain accessible 24/7 should there be any issues that require our attention and/or additional WorkForce needs that we can assist with.
